The problem we saw
We were working with the PAC Program, a behavioral health and addiction treatment clinic in New York. Every morning, a staff member would log into ePACES, pull up each patient's Medicaid CIN from their EHR, copy-paste it into the portal, check eligibility, and move on to the next one. 200+ patients. One at a time.
When they missed one — a patient whose coverage had lapsed between appointments — the claim got denied. That's $500 to $2,000 in lost revenue for a single missed check.
What we built
We built a system that connects directly to eMedNY, imports the clinic's patient list from their EHR, and verifies the entire caseload in seconds. One click replaces an hour of manual work.
Then we added automated nightly verification with morning email alerts — so staff arrives knowing exactly which patients have coverage issues before the first appointment of the day.
